What I Know About Thomas Edison

Thomas Edison was a scientist. He was smart.

Mr. Edison discovered milk that is safe for people to drink. He invented many things in the past. Things like the light bulb, the silent films, and the photograph.

When Mr. Edison was a boy, like about twelve years old, he sold eggs by the train station to make money for his family.

When he grew up, he was famous. He went to the 1889 Paris World Fair. They put Mr. Edison's inventions in the Great Hall. It looks as big as a football stadium.

Thomas Edison invented more than 1000 things! Isn't that amazing?

Frog and Toad Visit a Haunted House

One day Frog and Toad were eating lunch at Reptile's Meal. When they got home, they read the Sunday paper. Frog gasped at what he just read. Toad asked ,"Why use gasping?""Read this, " Answered Frog. Toad read the sentence Frog was pointing at. "Wow," Toad barely whispered. It says that there was a new museum at Reptile and Baker street. The newspaper says the museum is a fake haunted house. They decided to go there on their roller skates.

When they got there, they bought tickets to go to the museum. Frog and Toad gave their tickets to the ticket lizard. when they went in the museum, two paper ghosts greeted them at the entrance. When they saw a papier-marche hand sticking out of a tombstone, they laughed! Also, when Frog pressed a button that says "Press me", a skeleton jumped out and Toad giggled.

They saw jack-o-lanterns with pointy teeth and glowing eyes. After that, they both jumped into a small boat together and entered the tunnel of fear. In the tunnel of fear, there were many statues of pirates eating, in boats, holding weapons and fighting.

After the tunnel of fear, Frog and Toad said together, "That was a lot of fun!" They passed through the exit and a big scarecrow said "bye, bye!".

When Frog and Toad went back to Frog's house in roller skates, Toad said "Let's go there again some other time." "Okay," replied Frog. And for dinner, they ate at Lizard Sam's dinner, lunch, breakfast. Open 24 hours a day.

Then, Frog and Toad went back to their own houses and slept well that evening.

Once there were two friends named Mark and Rick. Mark liked to read chapter books. Rick liked to read any kind of books.

One day, Rick came to Lakens Elementary Weird. He didn't feel like reading books, like he usually did. Mark tried to ask him what's wrong. Rick said that his other friend Logan from Texas got to go to San Francisco to watch a magic show last Saturday. Rick said, "I can't go because I didn't have enough money". Mark said he went to the magic show and after he was about to leave, the amazing Victor taught him how to do some of the easy tricks. Mark said he could show Rick.

One day, they went into their secret hide out in a empty puzzle box. Joey announced,"We're gonna sneak out of the house and out to the baseball field in the park with Norman and Robbie." "Okay," replied Phillip. Norman was a talking jar and Robbie was a talking ball. They sneaked out of the house and they called Norman and Robbie. They watched the Giants and the other teams play baseball.

First, it was Toad's birthday and frog gave him a hat. Except the hat was too big. Toad was sad. Then, Frog thought of a plan. He told Toad that tonight, when he goes to bed, think big thoughts which will make his head grow larger. Finally, when Toad went to bed, he thought some big thoughts. Frog sneaked in at midnight and took the hat to his house and poured some water on the hat. It began to shrink. Frog put the hat back where he found it. Toad was happy the next morning. It fits!

Once there was a scientist named Linus. Linus heard many people say "There are aliens behind the moon." Linus wasn't so sure about it. So he decided to go look there himeself. Linus rented a rocket. He blasted off and flew away to be nowhere to be found.

The Tiny Creature

One day, Gus and Axel were inside playing starwars. Then Axel saw something glowing in Gus's yard, he called to Gus and told him about that.

The thing looked like a spaceship, the door of the thing opened and a ladder fell out and a strange creature came out. It jumped into the house and ate everything that is made out of metal. I will tell you some of the things the creature ate: penny, machine, statue, cup.

Once upon a time, there was an elf who was a bit of pest. The elf's name is Mark and he had an elf friend named James and he was a big trouble maker. Mark and James were friends since just born!

One day they decided to put a wild frog in Ms. Benson's desk like for example, when Ms. Benson opened her desk, the frog would jump out and she would scream. The next day at recess, James and Mark sneaked in and put the frog in their teacher's desk. After recess, Ms. Benson was about to get something out of her desk. When she opened it, the frog jumped out and Ms.Benson screamed and all of the elves in her class laughed so hard! Ms. Benson called the principal right away to tell Mr. Jack the principal to take the frog away! And she was so, so, mad!

The Big Hole

Once there were two friends, an elephant and a giraffe. The elphant's name was Kennedy and the giraffe's name was Zachary.

One day, Zachary asked Kennedy, "Want to meet each other at the park?" "Okay." replied Kennedy. They met each other at the park one sunny Wednesday. They both told each other that they were so hungry. So they decided to eat the grass of the national park.

You heard that they were so hungry, right? Zachary and Kennedy at so much that they made a big hole down the center of the national park. At the bottom of the park, Zachary couldn't believe his eyes! And Kennedy too. There were lots of beautiful mountains and rivers. It was almost like heaven!

Zachary and Kennedy jumped down to the beautiful land and played tag and hide-and-seek there quite a while. When it was time for dinner, Zachary realized they couldn't go back up! Suddenly, Kennedy figured out a way to get up. His plan was to put spiky sticks on their feet and climb up. So it worked.

The Exploratorium

Once, there were three brothers named, Bobby, Zachary and Freddy.

One day while Bobby was bouncing his ball and Zachary was reading a Ninja Turtles Book, Freddy came rushing in the room, "Hey, Listen to this, you guys." "What?" Zachary and Bobby replied together. "Summer break is next week, we're going to go to the Exploratorium Summer Camp," Freddy said, "we're gonna see our own spit under one of their very best microscopes." "Cool!" Zachary said.

Finally, it's time for Summer Camp. Bobby, Zachary and Freddy went to the Exploratorium Summer Camp. They listened with earphones to a blind man talking about what he hears at the subway. They ate lunch by a pond. Bobby bought a banana, a hamberger and some apple juice. Zachary brough some grapes, some rice cooked with chicken and CiCi. Freddy brought a peach, some noodles and Caprisun. In the afternoon, they built a sand castle at the beach. When they came back to the Exploratorium, they got a bathroom break. After the day was over, Zachary said, "Man, that was a fun place to be!"

And every Summer, Bobby, Zachary and Freddy went to the Exploratorium for Summer Camp.

Once there were two friends, a caterpillar and a butterfly. The caterpillar was named Larry M. and the butterfly was named Harriet L. For the fifth time, Larry's skin was rough, it became a chrysalis! Harriet couldn't have the thought of never seeing her friend again. For a few weeks, Larry crawled out of the chrysalis and Harriet couldn't believe her eyes! Larry was a butterfly! For the neext two hours, Larry dried off his wings and the two butterflies played tag as they glided through the air.

So Sammer was about to put the book awasy when a spider crawled on the book. Sammer just put his finger on it and it was dead. Sammer got another book called "How to do MAGIC". He opened it up and a rat climbed out. But he doesn't care. Sammer read it when he was on the last page, he was so surprised that it was easy. Sammer tried that trick and it worked--the rat turned into a cup!

One day, there was a school called Millform Elementary. It was almost Valentines's Day and Ms. Benser told the class to make a nice Valentine for everybody in her class! So Charles started right away.

School Adventures with Robert and Stanley

Once upon a time, there was a boy named Robert Starky who went to Sherlock College. Robert only had one friend named Stanley Lambchop. They knew each other since Preschool! They both loved books!

One day when Robert went to school, he said tohis friend Stanley, "you know, my dad Aslan, he did two hundred push-ups and sit-ups." "Wow!" said Stanley. When they finally came to class, Mr. Marks their teacher said, "Welcome boys and girls! I have an important thing to tell you. Our principal Mr. Stomboli will change to Mr. Cardini." "Ohh." said the class. At recess, Robert and Stanley played tag and when Robert was on T.O., He said "I'm hungry." Suddenly, the bell rang and everyone hurried to line. At lunch recess, Robert went to the library because Stanley was playing with his cousin. At the end of the day, Robert walked home and Stanley rode th bus.
